STRIPED RIBBON STAR quilt pattern

Hello Friends!

It's getting cooler here in Connecticut. I hope you've had a wonderful summer! If you are still having it, I'm so jealous!

I've been working on a full quilt pattern of STRIPED RIBBON STAR during the summer and finally the pattern is here!!

I made a Large throw (16 blocks) using 8 FQs from Kona Cotton Solids. Here are the colors.

Peach, Melon, Gumdrop, Pickle, Aqua, Cyan, Butterscotch and Roasted Pecan

My color inspiration was the summer flowers, blue sky and a bit of fall colors. It's like the colors we see between the end of the summer and the beginning of the fall.

The pattern comes in four sizes.
Small Throw (12 blocks) 48" x 62"
Large Throw (16 blocks) 62" x 62", (20 blocks) 62" x 76"
Bed (36 blocks) 90" x 90"

If you would like to make a Large Throw (20 blocks) then you need 10 FQs or 1/4 yards. So it's easy to mix and match from your stash!

The instruction includes the cutting instructions to make one block too. The block finished size is 12" x 12", so it's easy to turn it into the size you want! I made this cushion cover from my stash. I felt a bit early but I picked the Halloween colors from Art Gallery Fabrics

I hope you enjoy making this full pattern of STRIPED RIBBON STAR!!

Happy Quilting!
