Bring the beach to your home! The inspiration for this patterns is Long Beach Island, New Jersey where I visit every summer. The waves, white sand, the colorful umbrellas and beach towels: I wanted to express the fun and relaxation that I look forward to at the shore.
Skill level: Advanced beginner, you need basic knowledge of the curved piecing.
This pattern includes the instructions for a crib(39"x 49"), a small throw(51"x 61") and a large throw(63"x 73"). Also it includes the printable templates for the wave .
The umbrella block has angles but there's no need to do paper piecing. The instructions navigate you step by step with a lot of diagrams how to trim and piece. It also includes useful templates to trim the angles as an option and an internet link for tutorials on how to use them. It makes it much easier to trim so you can spend more time on the beach!
