This quilt pattern is made by Satomi Hoar of Satomi Quilts.
The PLAY HOUSE quilt is traditionally pieced and is recommended for advanced beginner quilters and up. The pattern includes step by step instructions with many diagrams for six sizes: a crib (42” x 54”), a small throw (54” x 66”), a large throw (66” x 78”), a twin (78” x 90”), a queen (94” x 106”) and a king (106” x 106”). There are instructions for the original version using assorted FQs and tidy version only using three fabrics.
I got inspiration from the wood blocks when my kids were still little and playing with them. I used traditional log cabin blocks with thin strips which gives a bit of a modern look to it.
